The National Center for Therapeutics Manufacturing (NCTM) in College Station, Texas, is a first-in-class, flexible-by-design, biological therapeutics research and development facility. It houses a highly respected, multi-disciplinary, multi-institutional R&D team focused on solving the current national challenges in public health and bio-security.

The NCTM program included academic spaces – labs, classrooms, offices, meeting rooms – to help train the next generation of research scientists in the field of therapeutics development and manufacturing. Particular emphasis was given to the spatial relationship of program areas, with the intent of encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, teaching and communication without impeding the production process.

This project received the Design Award of Honor from the Society of American Registered Architects (SARA) in 2012.
