This 810-bed, 215,000 sf residence hall is located on an urban block at the edge of TSU’s campus and is connected to the main campus via the Tiger Walk, running past the site’s southern border. HarrisonKornberg designed the facility in collaboration with Lord Aeck Sargent. The 7-story, tunnel-formed, concrete structure forms a protected courtyard that will include multi-use academic/social spaces and 400 student rooms. Each floor of the building will feature common lounges and smaller study spaces. The building includes a 350-seat dining facility with multiple menu stations and grab-n-go options. The dining facility will remain open after hours for student study and socializing. The building also includes a 2500 s.f. c-store.
