Saran has over 15 years of experience in architecture, working with leading firms in Jamaica and the United States. She has been an integral part of teams delivering projects in various markets including education, healthcare, hospitality, multi-family residential, retail, and airport retail. Her diverse background provides her with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities within each sector.

While preparing her thesis, Saran developed a profound interest in computational design and digital fabrication. These areas of focus have not only enriched her understanding of architectural innovations, but also inspired her to explore the intersections of architecture with other fields. 

Saran earned her Master of Architecture from Florida A&M University and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Architectural Studies from the Caribbean School of Architecture. Her achievements include receiving the ARCC King Student Medal for her thesis research and being honored with the AIA Florida Bronze Medal. Additionally, she is a Carnegie Mellon UDREAM Fellowship Alumna, where she participated in Urban Design immersive experiences in Pittsburgh.

Saran enjoys traveling, exploring new destinations and savoring unique culinary experiences at various restaurants. Family is very important to her, and she cherishes spending quality time with loved ones. In her leisure time, she enjoys playing word games and hosting board game nights with friends and family. Saran loves being creative and is always eager to learn new skills that allow her to express herself artistically. To unwind, she also finds joy in baking, experimenting with new recipes and sharing her creations, combining her love of food with her creative passions.
