Simone Ofosu_Fun

As a designer, Simone seeks to expose the correlation between human comfort, art, and the built environment. She believes that while a building’s walls are limited, the possibilities of its interior dimensions are boundless. Her philosophy boils down to this: spaces hold the key to inspiring others, both subconsciously and consciously. She hopes to expand this theory within sustainable practices and in her local community. Her “toolbelt” includes graphic design, schematic design (SD) and design analysis, all of which influence her work.

Simone is a recent graduate from UTSA, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. While enrolled, she took part in her university’s IIDA chapter and local ASID committee, serving as Vice President, student liaison, and outreach coordinator.

In her spare time, Simone enjoys creating and making recipes, vintage shopping, and hiking. She is also an admirer of film, taking inspiration from a broad spectrum of short films, sets and movies. In the future, she hopes to travel to places such as the Grand Canyon and the Rocky Mountains.
