Mark enjoys exploring the reasoning behind projects and working directly with stakeholders during programming and design. He has an affinity for balancing different requirements from multiple stakeholders to form unique, collaborative visions for the projects he designs.
Mark is not one to shy away from a challenge and loves technically complex projects. His interest in complex projects has led him to gain expertise in the fields of research and development, energy, higher education, aerospace and aviation. His responsibilities in these projects include managing the architectural team, architectural programming, design leadership, construction documents, and construction administration on many projects.
Mark received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston. He is a registered architect and registered interior designer in the state of Texas. Mark is a member of the AIA and Texas Society of Architects. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
Mark’s interests are as varied as his work experience, as he enjoys being in the great outdoors, hiking, canoeing and fly fishing; riding motorcycles; restoring old houses; listening to music, from classical to hip hop; and designing craft cocktails.
