Ben has a real passion for design that fosters and creates a sense of community. The pandemic reinforced for him how important it is for the built environment to address bringing people together in safe nurturing environments. Educational building settings provide some of the greatest opportunities to make this a reality.
While Ben has amassed a depth of experience in varying project types over his career, he has a special interest in places that are true community builders. He welcomes and encourages feedback from the communities he works in, especially K-12 education.
As a Project Manager, Ben serves as the primary contact and is involved through all phases of the project. He acts as the project implementer – responsible for creating and distributing all necessary information to the project design team and ensuring goals are met.
Ben received a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University. Ben is a registered architect in the state of Texas. He is also a Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) and LEED Green Associate. Ben is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Texas Society of Architects, and the U.S. Green Building Council.
Outside of the office, you can find Ben camping and hiking with his family, freehand sketching, geeking out over the next sci-fi movie coming out, chasing around his two wiener dogs, or adding to his ever-expanding collection of lawn gnomes.
