Starting out as an artist rather than in architecture, Nicholas has always felt that the design of the built environment can convey a deeper message as well as create a useful and beautiful space. He has an interest in planning concepts, three-dimensional designs, and how to integrate building systems into the design.
Nicholas enjoys working on projects from the ground up – from initial programming to construction. This has led him to gain experience in new construction projects, as well as renovation experience. Nicholas has worked in a variety of sectors, but has a particular interest in higher education and civic projects with a focus on utilizing tilt-wall construction.
Nicholas received a Master of Architecture from Rice University. He received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
When he’s not in the office, Nicholas likes to draw, paint, play guitar, and watch B-movies with friends. His favorite band is the Beatles.
