HarrisonKornberg was part of a Joint Venture awarded a five-year contract for Design and Design Management Services at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) for major projects beginning in 2016. One of our tasks was to develop comprehensive Concept Designs and Design Guidelines for six passenger touchpoints throughout the airport, to deliver a world-class passenger experience. These passenger touchpoints include Check-in, Security Screening Checkpoints (SSCP), Restrooms, Entertainment Zones, Gaterooms/Holdrooms, and Baggage Claim.

Services provided under this contract included architectural and engineering design, design management, and related services for various types of new and renovated structures and facilities both airside and landside. Our team successfully completed more than 40 delivery orders for DFW including, but not limited to:
– Design Guidelines for all existing and new terminals
– Comprehensive toileting analysis to determine needs, existing conditions and targeted upgrades
– Construction of a new toileting facility at Terminal A, D, and rental car center
– DFW VIP Passenger Lounge
– Redesign of the Corporate Board Room – DFW Administration Building
– Employee Portal Update
– Skylink
– Taxi Que
